Now you can comfortably verify yourself using your ID card or passport from the comfort of your own home or while on the go, without the need to visit a branch or the post office. The VideoIdent process is available from 8:00 to 24:00 and is assisted by an Ident Specialist.

As a Commerzbank banking client, you can take advantage of the Commerzbank IDENT App to sign documents and contracts and verify your identity using AutoIdent.

With AutoIdent, you have the flexibility to complete these steps at your own pace, without any waiting time. AutoIdent accepts ID documents from the European Union and Switzerland, as well as the German resident card for non-EU citizens.
